Siria L. Gutierrez (pronounced "Sydia" She/her) is a mental health advocate and lawyer. Her purpose is to help give other tools to help themselves in living a life of choice and abundance. She’s not just a lawyer; she’s layered--just like you.
Born in Guatemala and raised in San Jose, California, Siria is a first-generation lawyer making waves in the legal profession by challenging the status quo and showing up as her authentic self. When lawyers are worried about what others think or how to "act like a lawyer" they are playing lawyer, rather than being the best attorney for you.
Siria is a litigator having represented several hundreds of people in personal injury and medical malpractice cases over the years. Before representing people, she defended big box stores, casinos, other professionals, and insurance companies and their insureds. This experience on both sides of the law means Siria knows how to look at cases and issues from all angles. She knows how both sides think and act.
Siria clerked in the Eighth Judicial District Court for the State of Nevada for the Honorable Valorie J. Vega after earning her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. She earned her bachelor’s degree at UCLA.
Siria values helping others and is a huge proponent of spreading knowledge. While in law school, she helped found the multi-award-winning mentorship program Huellas (“Footprints”), a four-tier pipeline mentorship program designed to encourage minority students to enter the legal profession run by the law students in La Voz at UNLV.

Most recently, the Hispanic National Bar Association named her one of the 2021 HNBA “Top Lawyers Under 40” in recognition of her extraordinary achievements and contributions to the legal profession.
